FEEDBACK COMMENTS
Below are some of the comments we have received about Maranatha from parents, visitors, and the general public.
(Concerning the money the year 4 classes raised from Entrepeneurs' Day):
To Mrs Laura Cooper:
I have just opened the most wonderful letter from you! What an amazing result from a small group of kids!
The funds will be used to help us put on programs in the Megazone. The Megazone is the play area for children and their families at PMH. It is amazing, has a theatre, craft area, play area for tiny tots, games arcade, reading/quiet area and an outdoor basketball court. Also coffee shop for mums and dads, computer with internet so they can bank etc and comfy chairs to just sit in!
Thank you Laura, this is an amazing group of children, you must all be so proud of them.

To Mrs Laura Cooper:
On behalf of the Rockingham Regional Campus Community Library, I would like to thank you and your students for your support and participation in this year's Children's Book Week activities.
I hope everyone involved enjoyed the Cosmodome session and found it fun, entertaining and a little informative. Please pass on our big thank you to all the children who were so very well behaved, they are a credit to their school community.
To Mrs Jill Hammond in student services: Thank you for looking after my family today. I really appreciate you going above and beyond the call of duty.
On Monday 22nd June, our Year 9 and 10 French classes went on an excursion to visit The Alliance Francaise in Perth. The Alliance promotes French language and culture in Perth and around the world. The aim of the visit was to speak French with French people and to see where they could continue to learn more French now and after leaving school. The Alliance provides French language tuiton with first language speakers for all levels.
The director of the Alliance responded to our visit:
Chère Madame Newton,
In English, he said that our students were very kind and pleasant and that he hopes that our visit will encourage them to continue learning French.
Ça m’a fait aussi plaisir et j’ai trouvé vos élèves très gentils et agréables !
J’espère que ça vous sera utile pour les inciter à continuer le français.
Bien amicalement
Hubert Sevin
This letter is to recognise the excellent behaviour of the Year 7 Maranatha Christian College students who visited the Francis Burt Law Education Centre with their teacher, Rainer Winkler.
The students were involved in a range of activities, which included:The students displayed enthusiasm, participated fully, and asked insightful questions about the law. I commend them on their exemplary behaviour. They were wonderful ambassadors for your school.
- Moving throughout the Fremantle Justice Complex in a quiet and orderly manner;
- Participating in an open court activity;
- Sitting attentively in the public gallery of a Magistrates Court; and
- Participating in the Moondyne Joe trial re-enactment at the Francis Burt Law Education Centre.
We think Maranatha is a fantastic school and are excited that our girls are now there after a 9 month wait. We look forward to the wonderful Christian learning environment our children will experience at Maranatha.
Students a credit to you, Maranatha CC and themselves.
I just thought I would take this opportunity to let you know what an amazing teacher Karen Le Roux is and how incredibly blessed we feel to have had her teaching our son in grade 2 this year. She is so incredibly loving towards each and every one of the children and has the most wonderful manner with them. As the parent of a boy (who seems to forget what he has done the minute he's left school and thus, tells me nothing!) her efforts at keeping parents informed through things like a weekly email are very much appreciated. She seems to give her all to her class and to every little thing she does with them. We have really seen a huge impact in how our son views school and views learning. She is caring, creative, organised, pays great attention to detail and is just plain wonderful!! We feel very lucky to have had her teach our son and will miss her, and her impact on our son when the school year is over. The school is truly blessed to have such a dedicated teacher on staff!
